Discovery Cycle Professionals is a Consulting
Company. Currently we are looking for a
Construction Site Supervisor to support one of
our Client (a global construction company) who
is currently undertaking a national project to
supervise the construction of various MDG project in the country. The selected candidate will be employed by DCP and seconded to the Client for the duration of the project.

JOB TITLE: CONSTRUCTION SITE
SUPERVISOR
LOCATION: Kebbi, Edo, Anambra, Akwa
Ibom
PURPOSE
To supervise (construction) execution of MDGs
Construction Projects. This is a Project based
assignment reporting to the Owner's Project Manager through an assigned Secretary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will require working closely with the
Owner's Project Manager, Owner's global Project Management organization, Owner's corporate technical resources, site project leaders, key vendors, suppliers and other stake holders.
During the course of this assignment, deliverable would be to supervise contractors to ensure that construction processes are safe and are according to plan.
Ensure that the right materials and processes are
used in the construction work.
The CSS is responsible for the administration of
the construction contract to assure that the contract is completed safely, according to the plans and specifications and to the required quality standards, within the contract time allowed for the construction, and within the contract price authorized for the work.
The CM is responsible for regular and timely
reporting to the Client's PM on the progress of the work.
Management Skills
Must be capable of working with Local Suppliers and look for cost saving opportunities.
Must have good inter-relational skills to manage
both vendors and other stakeholders from the
host community.
Leadership
Demonstrated capability to work effective in
multifunctional teams, influential in engaging and leading people for project execution.
Effectively understand customer's and overall project needs from a technical, business and
environment standpoint.- Set clear priorities,
and owns results.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Engineering or Construction
Technology.
Consideration would be given to other degrees
with more years of experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site
(building) construction work.
REMUNERATION
Between N50,000.00 to N100,000.00 per
month.
Car with a Secretary.
