We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Head Teacher

Location: Abuja

Report To: The Governing Body

Description

To provide professional leadership for the school which secures its success and improvement, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and good standards of learning and achievement.

Must be conversant with current Nigerian and basic UK Curriculum.

Must be experienced in interaction with education and other Government agencies.

Responsibilities

Strategic direction and development of the school

Provide inspiring and purposeful leadership for the staff and pupils.

To monitor and evaluate the performance of the

school and report to the governing body as

required.

To ensure that school policies and practices take

account of national, local and school

requirements.

Teaching and learning

Determine, organise and implement a policy for the personal, social and moral development of pupils.

Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching,

learning and standards of achievement of all

pupils in the school through appropriate

methods.

Promote extra curricular activities in accordance

with the educational aims of the school.

Efficient and effective deployment of staff and

resources

Make arrangements for the security and effective supervision of the school buildings, their contents and the grounds.

Accountability

To develop on organisation in which all the staff recognise that they are accountable for the success of the school.

Carry out any such duties as may be reasonably

required by the Governing Body.

Remuneration

USD 2000 per month, all inclusive.
